Matthew Phan has won the JMTA music scholarship and has been accepted into Vanderbilt University, to major in Piano Performance. He performed his audition pieces at a JMTA program recital on May 9, 2024: Bach Prelude and Fugue in D major, BWV 874 /Book II/ Beethoven Sonata in E flat major, Op. 81a, 3rd movement Ravel “Ondine” from Gaspard de la Nuit
Matthew was awarded the scholarship check by Kamila Shahtakhtinski, NCTM, Scholarship Committee Chair. His piano teacher is Peggy Edwards.

Spencer McKee has won the JMTA music scholarship and has been accepted into Vanderbilt University.

Fall 2022: New Wellness Hikes If you missed our hiking get-together on October 8th with Wellness Chair Lisa Barwell, the next one is scheduled for: Saturday, November 5th at 9am at Losco Regional Park, 10931 Hood Rd. S. in Jacksonville.
Per Lisa, "Easy walking path as well as a fairly easy hiking trail. We'll meet in the parking lot; I'll try to wear a music t-shirt so I'm easy to find."

Daniel Holt has won the JMTA music scholarship and has been accepted into the music program at FSCJ. He then plans to transfer to UNF.
