District IV Concerto Competition Additional Instructions
COVID-19 Protocols:
Masks are required for everyone in the audience and should cover the nose and mouthsnugly at all times
The current requirement is for pianists to perform in masks. Pending Covid numbers in the District this requirement may be revisited as the concert date approaches for those actively performing onstage. But for now, plan to perform masked. Practice performing in a mask with your collaborative pianist in advance so that March 19 is not your first attempt at this
Hand sanitizer will be available at the venue and its use will be encouraged
Should there be a high number of applicants to perform, additional restrictions related to audience size limitations may be imposed or the event may be split into smaller recitals to accommodate a larger crowd in the space
Application Addendum:
New this year: your application is not complete without a signed UNF Liability Waiver (required by the university). This form was provided in the February 2022 High Notes and is linked here: unf_waiver_for_minors_-_d4_concerto_competition.pdf and can either be mailed in with your check, emailed to e.bennett@unf.edu, or brought with you to the event itself.
