President’s Pen
Well, I must say that fortunately February has been a much quieter month for me than January. I hope it has also been less stressful for my fellow teachers as well. Our February presentation by Penny Lyle-Schaffer and her performers on “Patriotic Music” was so fabulous! I loved singing along and hearing all the varied styles of music from different wars. So much of it was new to my ears, and ran the gambit from melancholy to humorous. Her troupe of musicians really did a fantastic job of bringing the music to life.

As for me personally, I am looking forward to Spring Break in March and getting to spend some time with my mom and other family. I wish all of you a happy Spring Break and I will look forward to our March presentation on small business taxes, I know I could use the advice!

Correction to last month’s President’s Pen: I was not able to attend the Student Day Honors recital on January 29th due to illness.
– Lindsay Hardee, JMTA President
