JMTA General Meeting
President’s Pen Dear Colleagues: Our March program by Anita Renfroe was a delightful surprise. After the scheduled presenter was unable to come, Anita filled in with a program of lecture and piano performance. We appreciate her flexibility and willingness to share her skills. Many thanks also to her hubby for helping. Our next general meeting will be Wednesday, April 10th at 9:30 at Keyboard Connection. Dr. Diana Dumlavwalla will present a program called “Online Music Lessons.” You can read about Dr. Dumlavwalla in Anita’s program notes. As we move into an area of greater technology, giving online music lessons has become a reality. You don’t want to miss this special program. Also in April, we will vote on our slate of officers for the coming 2 years: President, Anita Renfroe; Vice-President, Sandra Stewart; Treasurer, Lorie Burningham; Secretary, Martha McKie. Be sure to attend and cast your vote. Please remember the Proton Therapy Institute recital on Tuesday, April 16th. Intermediate level and advanced students are invited to participate. For more information, contact Sandra Stewart. The Proton Therapy recital is a community event, open to the public and can be counted as community service credits. Even if you do not have students participating, you are welcome to attend. This program is always delightful. It is officially Spring! New life is beginning all around us and warmer days are ahead. Perhaps some of your students would like at attend a summer music camp. We do have scholarships available to help. Have a Blessed Easter.
